Zhongwu Hall




Zhongwu Hall, also known as Tingwu Hallserves as a branch ancestral hall for the Cao clan, providing a space for family gatherings and discussions. The presence of the words Sheng Zhi(Imperial Edict) on the door lintel reflects the esteemed official status of the Cao clan within the imperial court. Inside Zhongwu Hall, a high-hanging plaque is engraved with the inscription Xiu Yu Guo Zhen. The phrase “Xiu Yu” symbolizes the cultivation of exceptional talents, representing the illustrious lineage of the family. Meanwhile, “Guo Zhen” refers to the pillars and talents of the nation. Collectively, this metaphorical expression highlights the family’s ability to shoulder significant responsibilities for the betterment of the country.
